Dan Langille is your conference organizor, how-to writer, and the source of all the latest and greatest information on FreeBSD ports.

Dan has been involved with open source since 1998 and has contributed directly to a number of projects (FreeBSD, Phorum, htDig, and Bacula). He is the founder of both the BSDCan and the PGCon conferences as well as the definitive place for ports, FreshPorts.

A avid mountain biker, he now lives near Philadelphia.
