Colin Percival

Dr. Percival is 27 years old and lives in Vancouver, Canada. He received his B.Sc. in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University in 2001 and his D.Phil. in Computer Science from Oxford University in 2006.

In addition to his role as FreeBSD Security Officer, Colin is well known for his work on FreeBSD Update and Portsnap, and is the founder and author of the Tarsnap online backup service.
