Eric Allman
Eric Allman was fortunate enough to be a student at U.C. Berkeley just as Unix was being released and contributed to BSD from the early days.
He has worked in the research, academic, and commercial worlds on both open- and closed-source software. Eric is the original author of sendmail and co-founder of Sendmail, Inc.
