Shany Michaely

Shany Michaely is a Software Engineer at Mellanox Technologies. Shany works on high performance driver for network adapters with a focus on RDMA technology (Remote Direct Memory Access) over Infiniband and Ethernet. She had a major role in some interesting features committed to Linux upstream (checksum offload, QCN), and she has recently been working on new features in the Infiniband and Ethernet drivers for FreeBSD upstream. Shany specializes on RoCE protocol (RDMA over Converged Ethernet), and helps to develop 100Gbps driver for FreeBSD. Prior to Mellanox Shany served as a computer instructor in the Israeli Defense Force. Shany has a B.Sc in Computer Science with specialization in Bioinformatics.
