Oded Shanoon

Oded Shanoon is a Software Manager at Mellanox Technologies. Oded leads the FreeBSD driver team at Mellanox, responsible for both the Ethernet and Infiniband drivers. The drivers are used by Mellanox's high performance Network Adapters cards of the ConnectX series serving up to 100 Gbps from 1 port. As part of his team ongoing efforts we are handling interesting projects such as Packet Pacing (TCP \ UDP rate limit per connection), RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet), iSER, Infiniband Router and other interesting features mainly related to high performance. Prior to Mellanox Oded served as an officer in the Israeli Air Force. Oded has a double major B.Sc. in Computer Science and Management from Tel-Aviv University.
