Rafael Ávila de Espíndola

Rafael Ávila de Espíndola is a llvm and lld developer with an interest in object files and other low level parts of the toolchain.

Rafael graduated from the university of Campinas (Brazil) in 2005. He worked in a toy GCC frontend while in the university and since then has worked in compilers whenever possible.

He got involved in LLVM in 2006 starting the open source ARM backend.

His main contributions were extending MC to support ELF and maintaining the gold LTO plugin.

He has been involved with LLD since the start of the new ELF support.
