Brian Downs

Brian Downs is a Staff Engineer at DoubleDutch where he works on designing and building backend systems to provide all aspects of event management. A FreeBSD user and sysadmin since 4.x, he has worked with large networks of FreeBSD systems handling all aspects of a small, medium, and large corporate needs. He's also contributed to BSD Magazine. Brian is passionate about BSD and co-organizes the Phoenix BSD meetup group, BSD-PHX. He's also passionate about Go (golang), has contributed to the language, organizes the local Go meetup (Golang-Phoenix), and loves writing systems in Go for FreeBSD.
