interested in becoming a contributor and in learning
more about the BSDs in general. I've used FreeBSD as
my primary desktop for the past two years or so, and I
think the conference sounds like a lot of fun.

- Q: Will I get a receipt?
A: Yes, if you need one. Please email us after you have paid and we will send you a PDF.
- Q: Should I bring my laptop?
A: By all means, yes, bring your laptop. WIFI will be available. It might be restrictive, so a VPN might be helpful.
In recent years, ports 22, 80, 443, and 1194 were not blocked. Check that the power outlet has power if your battery is low. Some do not work.
- Q: Where can I rent a bike?
A: At RentABike Vélocation, which is a 10 minute walk from
the conference venue. Please refer to the Google Map.
- Q: Is there a pool nearby?
A: Yes, there is a pool on campus.
Looking at the map, the pool is in Montpetit Hall, two buildings
east of the residence complex. Admission is $3.
- Q: What happened to the forums? We used to have forums.
A: Yes, we once hosted forums on this website, for the use of our attendees to ask questions, etc.
In recent years, they receieved little use as people turned to social media to contact us. There were no
posts in 2016 and 2017. As such, the forums were removed in October 2018.

A: Slides will be available from within the schedule after the speaker uploads them. Please

A: Our priority is, always has been, and always will be, the people at the conference.
Video and streaming is done by volunteers who are passionate about their duties. We provide their results for free.
